Studio Nuy van Noort
Inspired by the ever-changing ways of working and living, Studio Nuy van Noort explores contemporary transitions between the two. Nuy and Van Noort believe that there is no need for separate offices and private homes, but rather for flexible spaces that enable both private and professional affairs.
Studio Nuy van Noort is an interdisciplinary design studio based in Amsterdam that focuses on architectural and urban design and research as well as product design. Maartje Nuy (1980) and Joost van Noort (1978) both graduated as an architect from Delft University of Technology.
In 2009 they won the THONET Mart Stam Award for their design of the VOUWWOW (VW01).
“The jury is unanimous in their opinion that the VOUWWOW stands out in every way due to its shape,
comfort and sustainability, and is an enrichment of the current repertoire and allows for a fantastic
use in interiors.”
